Day 7: Delegate

A very easy day and my first day back in civilization -Delegate. I leave Craigie first light and arrive at Delegate Pub at 9am. It is wet and windy. The cozy Delegate Pub is my accommodation for the night. I take the time to relax, see the town, visit the local shops, the local art gallery, wash clothes etc. The pub provided a delightful sirloin steak with chips and salad which went down a treat. I probably would have eaten and enjoyed anything as I have been easting dehydrated food for the most part of 7 days. The beds had electric blankets too. There were lots of bikers staying at the pub tonight so the place was fairly busy as well as the usual rowdy young local mob getting on it too. The Art Gallery is worth paying a visit to if its open when you are there, it has a bit of local history a library, art and crafts for sale and indigenous artwork and artifacts for sale. There are also minor facilties like a general store/post office and a restaurant/cafe, fuel (but didnt look like it was recently open).
